SOMEONE PROTECT THESE CHILDREN!

Did you see Good Morning America on Monday and Tuesday. They released new information, saying that 3 of her first 6 children are disabled. The mother already receives over $2300 a month in assistance from the state. The octuplets will probably be in the hospital another 8 weeks. I'm sure mom is not picking up the tab for any of those bills either. I was appalled when I saw this! Isn't anyone going to step in and protect these children!?!

The whole thing makes me sick. I think she had those babies hoping for a million dollar book deal or whatever. Sick, sick, sick. I don't know if you saw Dateline the other night, that girl is not stable.

Also, the video has been pulled, so we aren't seeing it.

Well, after all we've been through to have/try to have children, it naturally makes us so angry!! I did not see the show but, heard about it! It makes me angry for the children!!! The California taxpayers are already burdened and the state is in the red, from what I saw in the news today. SAD! And the dr. should be liable too! I heard this mom, from a friend who listened to her, likely has some serious mental issues that need to be addressed as well!!! Poor kids! The state should take them, since the state is financially supporting them, and adopt them out to good families!
UGH!

I think she needs support right now, not more criticism. It's sad that she is in this situation but she needs help, not criticism. And, lots more people take advantage of the welfare system who don't need it. Seems to me she needs it temporarily.

That interview did nothing to help her side of things, did it? Every article and interview I read has me more and more concerned for those kids. This woman definitely has a warped sense of reality.

I can understand wanting to be a mother. I myself want to be a single mother (no one remotely romantically special in my life, but I want kids). BUT- it all depends on what I can afford!

I don't think the government should dictate how many children a couple should have or not have, BUT I sure as he&$ don't want to be paying for children that someone has that they cannot afford! I have no children, unable to have children and I do NOT want to be paying for children (although I already am!) that I cannot hold, comfort and call my own! At one time I heard this woman say that she would raise her children from student loan money???? What a bunch of BS.

There are just some selfish folks out there who think since they can "make" children, they should keep popping them out, but if they are not working and cannot support them, then they should stop! And have common sense!
