Christmas Wreaths...Ho! Ho! Ho!...part 2

Welcome back! If you didn't read part one, go here first.

Now we are ready to start assembling our Christmas wreath.

First, I take a small piece of lace and make a loop on the back. I tie it to the metal frame. This will be used for hanging the wreath later.

Next, I take wire edged ribbon and loop it back on itself a number of times (The more loops you have the bigger the ribbon will be.).

Then I wrap the ribbon around the middle and pull it tight to hold all the loops together. I glue this on the back.

I cut the ends and glue it onto the wreath form. Sometimes I use wire to hold it in place. Then I play with the ends and plump the loops. The wire makes this easy.

Next, I separate all the little red balls. They usually come in clumps of 20 or so.

Then I use the wire cutters to snip off all the ends. So all I have left is the little red balls.

Then I glue the angles, large red balls, and small red balls on the front of the wreath form.

Then I wrap strands of silver beading all the way around the wreath form....

...and I secure it on the back with hot glue.

At this point, I hung it up to see how it looked. Not bad...but I need to add a little more....

I added the pine cone clusters and little gold balls too. TADA!!!

NOW HERE IS A LOOK AT THE OTHER ONES I COMPLETED!

This is for the new secretary at my school.

This is for my caseworker, Lisa, at the adoption agency.

And this is for a friend!

Hope you enjoyed the wreaths. Now you can make one yourself! MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Your wreaths are beautiful!:)

That is such a great (and very thoughtful) gift!

And tell Richard that I enjoyed his walk down memory lane. He and his family had a lovely home.

God Bless,
Amy:)

You made it look way easy! I may have to try this again. I haven't been successful in the past.
