I HAVE A QUESTION #1

What would induce you to give up life as you know it and face the unknown? Were people in previous centuries more adventurous than we are today or was it simply harder to avoid risk and adventure? How does affluence make people complacent and averse to risk?

I'd give up a lot, but not at the expense of my family. I have found that I can live pretty simply, and before I was married I moved across the country a few different times. I really did love the adventure of it.

I would do something like that for our son, my husband and probably my mom; or if we were forced into it somehow and it was the only way we could survive, otherwise, I'm not sure there is much else that could compel me to do that.
