Where is Sam's favorite place to play?
The cupboard with all the plastic in it, of course.
He likes to spread these all over the floor and then stack them back up. The shelf is the perfect height for him to sit on.
This is the easiest way I've found to make dinner and clean up afterward. It keeps him occupied for 30 to 40 minutes.
Peek! Where's Sam? There he is! Ta Da!
