ANTS ON MY BRAIN!

I HATE ANTS!!!

These little bastards just won't die! PLEASE, TELL ME WHAT TO DO! I've tried the home spray from HOME DEPOT...but as soon as it dries they carry off their dead and start marching again. I've also tried little ant traps...that are suppose to work for three months, but they just walk around them.

If they would just stay outside I'd leave them alone, but you little bastards coming into my kitchen. It's only my kitchen, THANK GOD! One time I found a bunch in my dish washer, so now I run the thing every night, no matter what. I can't tell how they are getting in. You know how you normally see them walking in lines, well these ones just seem to appear 4 or 5 at a time all together, like last night was my sink. I kill the four or five, walk out of the room and 4 or 5 more will appear 10 minutes later. My husband assures me it's not my cleaning, but they are driving me nuts. I've been mopping my floor a lot thinking the little drips and drops are drawing them and spraying all my surfaces down with WINDEX to get any sticky or sweet residue...no luck they keep coming back. I'm afraid to call in a PROFESSIONAL COMPANY because I have a dog and 3 cats, but I'm at my wits end. UUGGGHHHHH! PLEASE HELP!

I also hate ants. I don't know the EXACT reference, but I read something from Mary Hunt about getting rid of ants in the dishwasher...go to her website, and I think you can search for it. LMK if you can't find it!

When we had a problem with ants around the kitchen sink, we used terro liquid ant bait. We had to put it on a piece of the cardboard packaging that we tore off, but now it comes in little single use packs.

I had a horrible ant problem because of crumbs from my niece and nephew, But, I used Sevin powder and when those little buggers crawl through it they die. Do they sell Sevin where you live because it works.

Another vote for Terro. It is the only thing that has worked here.

I have always just used the Raid for ants and other crawlies. Spray it all around the walls, etc. But also along the outside of the house where you think they might be coming in. And go further than that... BUT. If there is a huge colony underground, then no amount of small remedies will fix the problem. If, after trying everything this year, you still get tons next year, you may want to call the exterminator.

I depends on what kind of ants they are. If they are crazy ants, aka raspberry ants, you have to call an exterminator. Otherwise, we had success with a gel you squeeze into the opening (although that wouldn't work in your dishwasher). I hate ants, too!

Try Amdro. Sprinkle it around the outside of the house. Mine were gone within two days. Got it at Lowes. Hope it helps!
