"For this child I have prayed" 1 Samuel 1:27

Very few things occupy my brain, intensely enough that I don't think about Samuel. He is ALWAYS (every minute) on my mind now. I see everything in relation to him. I saw a commercial about the "rhino" virus and thought..."I can't wait to take him to the zoo." I drive by a park and can't wait to see him playing in the sand. In the last week or so, Richard and I have been hooked on the tv show, Adoption Stories. I cry through every one.

My arms ache to hold him. I have waited and prayed for so long. I have dreams about his arrival, my parents holding him, his first day at school, him saying "Mama," putting cookies out for Santa, playing chase, reading books and seeing his eyes light up the first time he sees fireworks. Everything I do now is to make life better for Samuel. I love you my dear boy. Mommy and Daddy are waiting.

Less than three weeks, yikes. Are you up 15 times a night in anticipation?

I am just thrilled for you both. How can Samuel NOT be on your mind every moment of the day? You ARE a mommy in waiting :)

When you get a chance, stop by my blog to pick up your award.

Can not hardly wait to see you 3 together! I know this anxious anticipation and the fact that everything thought is captured by him! Praying that all works out as smoothly as possible for everyone.
