He's not spoiled!

We've always kept a baby gate in front of our bedroom door so that our cats have a safe place to rest from the dogs. Keene and Menlo, together, were a major handful and the cats were constantly being annoyed. Well, since Keene passed away, we've been allowing Menlo a little more freedom, since by himself, he's a totally different dog. The other day I went to take a shower and when I came out, this is what I found....

These are the cats, Jynx, Cynder and Autumn. They are normally on the bed, but decided to head for higher ground. They are not pleased with Menlo. Here is why....

No, we do not allow him on our bed. He has a kennel beside our bed that he sleeps in at night. I have a hard time, disciplining him when he has such a cute face. All I could do was laugh and kiss him!

Oh, what an opportunist! If my dogs could still jump up that high, they would probably take the opportunity as well...funny how they know the face to get what they want!!!

Is the honeymoon over between Menlo & cats??? Looks like it is!!! :-)

*Sigh* He was just resting.;) Like Allie.;)

Wouldn't it be funny to know what the cats were saying to each other? LOL!:)

Tracey,

I love your cats (I have 2) and now, I love Menlo!

I know that Mimsey and Horatius would be OUTRAGED if some big creature hogged "their" bed. In fact, I can't turn over at night--Horatius whimpers and runs away; Mimsey lifts up her head, looking offended, and scolds me.

Frankly, I think the cats are plotting a way to take over the bed!

It is written in the Boxer Code of Conduct: Thou shalt have full access to your human's bed!

At least that's what our three boxers tell us! : )
