When I got home from work today I saw two beautiful signs of spring. My rose bush has finally started to bloom. I love yellow roses. It's a very small bush right now, but it has two blossoms and at least four others getting ready to open.
I went out back and I saw this dove in my peach tree. The nest has a dryer sheet in it, which I find very comical. I haven't heard any little birdie sounds so I don't think any have hatched yet. The mommy bird barely fits in the nest, either. I'll keep watch and try to get a picture of the eggs.

Pretty roses, Tracey.
We once found a bird's nest in our front yard too, and it was made using some of my son's hair. (We had thrown the hair outside after haircuts to give the birds "stuff" to use and sure enough, the nest was full of his yellow hair.) :)
