First, let me say a major, THANK YOU to...Dad for serving (for 20 years) in the Navy during WWII as a Chief Petty Officer, to my brothers Kurt, Kent and Mark and my sister in-law, Connie, for serving in the Air Force and Marines and to those of you who are serving our country now!!! God Bless and come home safe!
Secondly, I can't believe this in my 100 posting! I've been having a lot fun. I've met a lot of great people and learned a lot of new things
My MEMORIAL DAY weekend was great! I went to some estate and yard sales with my mom and sister, Karen (who was in town from New Hampshire), on Saturday and then on Sunday everyone (Mom, Dad, Karen, Genie, Kevin, Heather and Dominic) came over for old home movies and dinner. I made a cheese & cracker tray and a shrimp tray to snack on. Then for dinner we had Confetti Beans with tortillas, salad, pork tenderloin and margaritas. For dessert I made a chocolate cake with fresh strawberries and whipped cream.
Blogging has been a great stress reliever and a wonderful blessing. A big thank you to all the new friends I have made.
