Lucky me! I have shingles. It's a very mild case right now. It's about the size of a 1/2 dollar on the right side of my ribs.
I went to urgent care today and they confirmed it. So I'm on 800mg of ibuprofen for pain, a topical cream for itching, redness and inflammation and a pill, used to decrease pain and speed the healing of the sores or blisters.
They said it could get worse, but they don't know and it should run it's course in 10 days to 3 weeks.
