Saturday night Sam was very congested (spring allergies) and we were awake every 2 to 3 hours. We were awake at 11:00, 1:30, 3:30 and again at 5:30. It was not a good night.
Richard and I decided that since we were going to be awake anyway, now would be a good time to have the PACIFIER FAIRY visit.
We had been talking about this with Sam, for a couple months. We explained how now that he was Big Boy the FAIRY might come and take his pacifiers to give to all the little babies that don't have any.
He wasn't keen on this idea, so we decided to have him more involved and we put them in a zip lock and we mailed them to the PACIFIER FAIRY. That was on Sunday.
Sunday's nap time was only 1 hour, which I expected and Sam had a harder time getting to sleep Sunday night, BUT.....HAPPY DAY....He slept all night!!!!!!!!!!
I think it's helping him breathe better at night too!
Last night before bed he told me he missed his pacifiers and he wanted to go back to being a little boy. I broke the news to him that it doesn't work that way.
Now if only potty training were so easy. Is there a Diaper Fairy?

Yay for sleeping! Santa took our eldest's pacifier, though he hasn't taken our youngest's yet.
It is both challenging and important to be with our kids through these milestones.
Here's hoping you have a good sleep theme for the next few weeks.
Best wishes,
Liz

Hey, good idea with the Pacifier fairy. I'll have to use that one when I have some kids...well, my wife does...that is, when I get married. Oh, you know what I mean.
Yep, that's the down side of thumbs. You can't put 'em in a ziplock and send 'em away! On the other hand, you never spend time frantically searching for them.
