Schools were closed we headed out to play in the snow.

We always carry our bucket outside. You never know what treasures you might find.

This is the most snow Samuel has ever seen.

The park has nice size hills to slide down too....I put down the camera at this point and, although I am not looking forward to making this day up in the spring (our calendar has zero built in snow days), we had a lot of fun. We were both very wet and very cold by the time we left.

NOTE: TODAY IS A SNOW DAY TOO! Unheard of in Albuquerque Schools. Unfortunately we'll have to make them up after Memorial Day. ENJOY YOUR DAY FOLKS. I know I will because Richard has the day off too!

We've had two days off too up in the Front Range of CO. I hope we don't have to make up these has been really cold and I understand the concerns for kids at bus stops, etc. Denver is under alot of fire because they are about the only school in the Front Range that is open. Students, Parents and Teachers are all MAD!
