Ten Reasons To Be Thankful You Don't Live Here

#10. White-Outs from wind and sand!

#9. The streets are flooded from rain, because we got 6 inches in 30 minutes and the ground is too hard to soak it up.

#8. School is delayed because of snow...no, it's only 1/4 inch, but they don't salt or sand the streets. They just wait until the sun melts it and that happens around 11 a.m.

#7. Kids learn very early to leave the rattle snakes, scorpians and centipedes alone.

#6. Do you know what xeriscaping is?

#5. Going for a walk in the open spaces could have you coming home with cacti needles in your leg, goat heads in your shoelaces and welts from fire ants on your ankles.

#4. People don't just assume that you eat green chile.

#3. You can touch your house and the neighbors house at the same time.

#2. When you get in a car accident you can almost be sure that the driver WILL NOT have car insurance.

#1. We have the weakest DWI laws in the country.

For the Facebook share button, you need to mess around with your html code. I'd recommend this website for directions, but you can google it and find alternative ways.

PS - I loved living in the land of enchantment - Albuquerque is one of my favorite cities.
