HAPPY 7TH ANNIVERSARY!

In October of 2002, Richard came to my classroom one day and said,

"Please pardon me for interrupting your session. I don’t mean to be rude and barge in but I’m here to ask a very important question.

As you all may or may not know Tracey and I have been together for quite sometime. I’m not very good at public speaking so forgive me if this doesn’t quite rhyme.

I want you all to know that Miss S is the best thing that has come into my Life.
Though it is no surprise to her, I am not here to embarrass her but to ask her to be my wife.

From the day we first met, from love at first sight, some how we both knew.
I hope every one showed up to school today and no one is out with the flew.

I have something very important to say, something I must confess.
I glad my timing worked out and not all are out enjoying your recess.

Tracey, I love you more than anything or anyone will ever know,
Your probably thinking, 'get on with it Rich, before it starts to snow!'

So without further embarrassment, without further delay, today, I am here to make a plea I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?"

I'm so very glad I said, "YES!" eight years ago and "I DO," seven years ago today! I LOVE YOU, RICHARD. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!
