Being a new mother I seem to get a lot of advice, which can be helpful, but is also very frustrating when it's from people who are insistent that their way is the BEST way. I also get advice (because I'm an adoptive mother) from those who think that my son is just a stand-in until I get "the real thing."
Each week I will post a new question. I'd love it if you'd play along and offer us new mothers your pearls of wisdom.
HERE IS THIS WEEK'S QUESTION:
DO YOUR CHILDREN SAY, "PLEASE," "I'M SORRY," "EXCUSE ME" AND "THANK-YOU" ON A REGULAR BASIS?

Absolutely! Wyatt is just learnig to speak, but he can say "tank u!" and "pee's!". I was diligent to say it to them the whole time they were babies, and it just stuck with them.
My kids are a little older than a lot of the parents blog that I read, but yes mine say those pretty often and sometimes, they will even hold doors for people. I remember once my oldest was about five and we held the door for someone and my son asked where did we learn to be so nice.
