Fall in New Mexico

Aaahhh....you know it's fall in New Mexico when it's 80 degrees during the day and 58 degrees at night. Wonderful sleeping weather!

The other sign is one of these....

......in the parking lot of every grocery store and WalMart. For those that don't know...it's a chili roaster.

I've lived here for 19 years and still haven't developed a taste for chili. It is way too stinkin' hot!! I love the smell, though.

Once these appear, then we know that Balloon Fiesta!!!....is right around the corner!!

This year it will be October 3rd-12th. So, if you're in the neighborhood, stop by. You'll love it! Our population increases by about 50,000, traffic is crazy and the sky is filled with color. It's truly a wonderful event to see!

I've been loving the night time cool down. I can't wait till the leaves start turning for my runs in the park. Can't wait.

Have fun at the festival. Sounds like a good time!

I used to live in New Mexico - must of my husbands family still does. I love this time of year there. Thank you for stopping by by blog. How wonderful y'all are getting your child soon!!!!! What a blessing that is! We are just starting the process and I am already frustrated. I love your blog - have not had a chance to really look around. When I get home I will come back and look around.
