Meet the family...

Kim wanted to see my "children," so here they are:

Introducing:

Keene is the lighter Boxer and Menlo has the darker face. Keene we've had since she was 6 weeks old. Her mom was at Boxer Rescue of Albuquerque and she was severely emaciated. When they got her back up to weight, they realised she was pregnant and Keene is one of those puppies. We know mom was a Boxer, but we're not sure who she was messing around with. We think dad may have been a PIT BULL. Keene is now 5 years old. We found Menlo on the Humane Society website less than a day after his previous owner surrendered him. We got him when he was a year old and he's now 3 years old.

Jynx is the black cat that my husband had about 6 months before I met him. She is now 9 years old. Cynder was a stray, little kitten (I think she was the runt of the litter.) that I found at my apartment complex about a month after I started dating Richard. I got her to come into my apartment with milk and summer sausage. About a week later she went to live with Jynx. I couldn't have cats at my apartment. She's now 8 years old.

This is Autumn. We adopted her as a little kitten from A-CAT and she is now 7 years old. We were told she wouldn't be puffy. SURPRISE! She's very snugly though.

I hope you enjoyed meeting the family (minus Richard of course).

Ah, they are sweet! I like dogs period, but there is something about a Boxer face that squeezes my heart! They are so loyal and loving! And stinkin' hilarious! Such clowns they are!

Thanks for sharing!

I just read about Keane's surgery! Poor baby! I'm so glad the tumors weren't cancerous! We lost a precious Boxer a few years ago to mast cell cancer from a tumor on her lower leg.

No we are freaks about rubbing and "feeling" our dogs regularly for any lumps or bumps.

Very sweet babies, Tracey!:)

It will be fun to see them introduced to your "new addition" soon.

When we brought both of our boys home from the hospital, we had cats.
They were so curious about the babies, it was funny.
They would sniff them and just stare at them curiously.
Then, when the babies would cry they would have this look like,
"Hey, Mom and Dad, could you please shut that kid up!" :)
It was so funny!
