Amy tagged me to tell six random things about myself. If you haven't checked out Amy's blog, I'd run over there NOW and do so, she's great...Ok...back to me...
1. I have a horrible memory. It takes me at least 3 weeks,
at the beginning of every school year,to memorize all my new students names.
2. I make lists for everything...because of #1.
And if I do something extra, that was not on my list,
I write it down and then cross it off.
3. I hate being interrupted when I'm talking or telling a story
...because of #1...I usually forget what the point of my story
was, or what I was going to say altogether.
4. I am a "procrastinating perfectionist." I put off what I know I should do or what will take a long time, for the easy fun stuff, but when I do anything it has to be "just so," or I'll start all over again.
5. I hate wearing socks and/or shoes. They're the first thing I take off when I get home and the last thing I put on when I go out and even in the winter I'll opt for just shoes, to go outside.
6. I read multiple books at the same time. I am a book junky and I can't stand to have to finish one book before starting another, so I read a little from each on, each day. Right now I am reading: Heaven's Wager by Ted Dekker, Keys to Parenting an Adopted Child by Kathy Lancaster, Making Children Mind without Losing Yours by Dr. Kevin Leman and A Love Like No Other (Stories from Adoptive Parents) by Pamela Kruger and Jill Smolowe.

That was great, Tracey. You are so funny!:)
I'm a list maker too.
And names, oh my goodness. I have to look at the person, say their name several times in my head, then write it down on paper, then cross my fingers that I don't call them the wrong name the next time I see them.:)
My mom reads several books at a time too. I used to make fun of her about it....and then it happened.
I realized there were three partially read books on my nightstand. :(
I think we may be related.:)
Thanks for playing.
God Bless,
Amy:)
Hi Tracey! I came over to check you out (Amy sent me :)
I love your six random things post. Several of your items could belong to me as well EXCEPT reading several books at one time...I don't know how you do it. If I did that I would never be able to keep them all straight.
Anyway, it was nice getting to know you.
Take Care.
Yvette
Fun! I will get to this soon...promise! :)
