I am happy to report that I have finally spotted one baby dove. If you look real close you can see that there is a baby with the mama dove. They live in a nest in our peach tree.On a sad note...we had very high winds over the last few days and I found one baby bird on the ground, dead. Mama had three eggs originally, but I'm not sure what has happened to the third bird yet.

Oh, that is sad. I love mourning doves...they are so beautiful and the fact that they have their mates for life really touches my heart.
