Your Path
The path to a dream is paved with sacrifices and lined with determination. Though it has stumbling blocks along the way and may go in more than one direction, it is marked with faith. It is traveled by belief, courage, persistence and hard work. It is conquered with a willingness to face challenges and to take chances to fail and try again and again.
Along the way there may be doubts, setbacks and unfairness, but when the path comes to an end, you will find that there is no greater joy than making your dreams come true.
This country was not built by people who relied on somebody else to take care of them. They relied on themselves, dared to shape their own lives, had enough courage to blaze new trails and enough confidence in themselves to take necessary risks. The greatest regrets in our lives are the risks we did not take. Your opportunity for personal success and happiness lies in your own backyard.
You have control over everything you choose to do or choose not to do. Courage, strength and determination are composed of the weaknesses we're damned we're going to not show. Be open to new opportunities. Opportunity is the discovery of the possibilities. Dream what you want to dream, go where you want to go, be what you want to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want in life.
"Life is either a daring adventure or nothing. To keep our faces toward change and behave like free spirits in the presence of fate is strength undefeatable." Helen Keller.

This is beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
We have a very open adoption. But only with the birthmom and her family. We have not met the birthdad yet and don't know if we will.
Love that quote!
This is very inspirational! Thank you! I have always said that I would rather try something, no matter how scary, than regret having not doen it.
