NH trip part #3...THE 40TH BIRTHDAY BASH!

After the parade we all went to the American Legion for a few beers and to see old friends.

Let me introduce you to 25% of the graduating class of 1986. From left to right we have: Tammy, Elisa, Me, Chris, Paula and Pat. Tammy now has 3 kids, lives in Florida and travels a lot with her job. Elisa has 2 kids and lives in Florida too. She was my best buddy and we lived three houses away from each other all through school. Chris is married and has 2 kids. He still has the cutest smile and chubby round cheeks. Paula lives in Lincoln and is a teacher like me. As our "friends" like to say, "We only work part time." Then there's Pat. I used to call him, "Plastic," but I don't remember why and he had horses and a crazy rooster that used to chase me around the yard. He's also married and has a couple kids. I think we figured out that Chris was the baby, having only turned 40 in July. Karen made it here for drinks too, but I didn't get a picture of her.

The next night we got together and had a bon fire, drank beer and made smores. Wild party right?! Well a neighbor that was annoyed by the "ruckus" we were making, started running her lawn mower at 10:30 PM. When we didn't take the hint, and go home, she called the cops!! The one in the green shirt is Nicole. She couldn't make it to the American Legion, the day before. She was gracious enough to allow us to have the bon fire at her place. She's married and has 2 kids. She owns and runs a local motel.

I had to include this photo (even though it's poor) because it's the only one I have of Mike, the guy who organized (The one who made us feel guilty if we said we couldn't attend.) all of us getting together. He still lives in Lincoln, is married and has a couple kids too. Caylene is in the picture with him. She couldn't come the day before, but made it the bon fire. She even brought her hubby and 2 kids. The little girl in pink, delivering the smores to us, is hers. So you see...in all we had...10 classmates (over 40%) that made it, in one form or another, to the BIG 40TH BIRTHDAY BASH! Do we know how to party or what!!
