We got up at 5:00 a.m. to ride a bus across town to BALLOON FIESTA.
We found a picnic table and settled in to have out breakfast.
Love that smile!
If you ever get a chance...this is the event to come to New Mexico for.
You get to stand among the balloons and they go up all around you.
The new one this year was Horton the elephant.
This zebra was one of Sam's favorite.
There was also this funny little Elvis.
The colors are amazing.
There are tons of concessions stands with food, crafts, clothes, jewelry and much more.
It can be cold so bundle up.
There were also some super slides for the kids....and...
.....a bounce house......
Sam's trying to help me up without falling over himself.
He loves the slides, but closes his eyes.
We had a great morning and we were home by 9:30 a.m.

We have gone to two festivals here, but nothing the size of that. It looks awesome.
