As I mentioned awhile back, we are planning on moving to New Hampshire in 2015 and to that end we are starting to plan now (...the A-personality in me....) what we need to do to our house to get it ready to sell. Since we don't have $10,000 on hand, we will do the upgrades that our realtor has suggested over the next 3 years.
Here is the to-do list:
• deep clean and de-clutter everything
OUTSIDE:
• repair crack in concrete in driveway
• stucco patch/redo stucco
• replace worn boards on fence
• AC - clean and check
GARAGE:
• reseal floor
• replace steal fire door
INSIDE:
General:
• clean ducts
• paint front door
• neutralize paint in Sam’s room, master bedroom and accent wall
• redo carpeting in bedrooms
• living area do new carpet or possible laminate
Kitchen:
• replace refrigerator
• tile floor to match baths
• door handles on all cabinets
• stainless microwave over stove
• crown molding on cabinets
• cover counters-plain
• clean sink or replace
• tile backsplash
• leave track lighting, but change chandelier
Living Area:
• replace glass in windows
• match and update lights and ceiling fan
Office:
• replace fan/match with bedroom
Front Bath:
• fix exhaust fan
• fix frame around mirror and paint white
• replace scratched marble counter top
• deep clean/possibly replace tub
• upgrade drain, shower head and nozzle
Master:
• repair/possible replace windows
Mather bath:
• fix frame on mirror and paint white
• replace scratched marble counter top
• deep clean/possibly replace tub
• upgrade drain, shower head and nozzle
• upgrade drain, nozzle for tub
• possible replace surround for shower
• replace light
