AN HOUR IN A DAY
I recently found STACEY'S MOTHERING MOMENTS. I like her idea of documenting AN HOUR IN A DAY. Here is mine.
WEEKDAY WORK DAYS:
5:00 a.m.-6:00 a.m.
5:00 a.m. alarm goes off and I get out bed (No, I do not hit the snooze.)
5:15 a.m. get out of shower and do hair, makeup and dress
5:30 a.m. turn on coffee, open curtains, fill cats food and water bowls
5:35 a.m. turn on computer and check Facebook (because I can't check it from work...), emails, Google reader and blog
5:50 a.m. fill coffee cup, grab breakfast and lunch, pack car, scoop cat poop, brush teeth
5:58 a.m. walk Sam into sleep with Daddy, kiss them both good-bye
6:00 a.m. back out of driveway
WEEKEND DAYS:
6:30 a.m.-7:30 a.m.
6:30 a.m. Sam yells, "Mommy I'm awake."
6:35 a.m. Sam yells again, "MOMMY!"
6:36 a.m. walk Sam to couch and get him some juice so he can watch Mickey Mouse
6:40 a.m. jump in shower and after dry hair...no makeup and get dressed
7:00 a.m. turn on coffee, open curtains, let dog out, fill cats food and water bowls, turn on teapot
7:05 a.m. put in a load of laundry and pore hot water in Sam's oatmeal, let dog in
7:10 a.m. turn on computer and check Facebook, emails, Google reader and blog
7:30 a.m. eat a bagel and drink coffee while watching Mickey Mouse and Octonauts

I like the weekend day so much better.
You are an early bird!! My baby is currently getting me up at 6:30 a.m. and I keep hoping he'll grow out of it so I can sleep till 7:30 again. It probably doesn't help that I'm burning the candle at both ends! Thanks for linking up!!
I love getting up in the mroning before everyone in the house rises so I can have that quiet and alone time :)
Me too! It's an important start to my day...a little peace before the chaos begins.
