Our school FUN RUN was held this morning. For about 6 weeks before this event the kids run laps around the field to earn buttons, water bottles and free t-shirts, to promote exercise and being healthy.
The FUN RUN has been renamed in honor of this amazing lady, Janice Saavedra, who passed away last summer from cancer. She started this event at our school over 20 years ago. The gym will be dedicated in her honor next Saturday.
A motorcycle group that comes every year made the quilt on the left and I made the one on the right. We made them using the old t-shirts from FUN RUNS past.
Sam had a lot of fun playing with all the little dogs.
The t-shirt is designed every year by students.
