There are only two weeks left of school and the end of this school year couldn't come fast enough!
Since life has been so busy, I've kind of been on a blogging break the last couple weeks and have shown my tangle creations instead. I've been finishing up standardized testing, finalizing grades, planning for next year, having my final evaluation, went to the Fun Run and I started Financial Peace University.
Kitty Cat was suspended twice and although it made my days easier not having her around, I am afraid she will be totally lost next year. The human development unit (reproduction and STDs) has been taught so this gave the 5th graders a whole new vocabulary to taunt each other with and brand news ways to get in trouble.
Starting on Saturday and into next week we have the dedication of the gym, Literacy Day, a field trip and Play Day. Then the final week of school we have the 5th grade party, graduation and cleaning up the classroom.
I don't have anything scheduled to post and I think I'm going to take it easy for awhile. Since September 24, 2010, I've posted something every day and I think it's time to slow down. I like to write everyday and I want to, but I don't want to make it feel like a job, either....I have one of those already. So when things happen I'll be posting, but I don't think I'm going to put so much pressure on myself anymore.
We have lots of fun activities planned for this summer with Sam. We're going to the zoo, aquarium, a train ride, the Unser Museum, a trip to Santa Fe and lots of time by the pool. So, I'll definitely be posting about those. I also want to read some books, complete a few craft projects, tangle, continue my FPU class, cook, clean, yard sale, visit with family and friends and
I am very impressed by those that seem to write so much, every day, but I have so many other projects going on that I'm having difficulty finding the time to stop and write something. My followers have grown to 99, but I haven't been able to brake the 3 digit mark yet. I hope I don't loose anyone while I relax a little. I'll still be reading you all and I hope you'll keep checking in on me too.
