WHAT SHOULD WE READ NEXT?

I am teaching the 5 and 6th grade readers this year and I am loving it. It's my most favorite class of the day. They are a bright bunch of kids...a few talker, but no major behavior problems and as a group they have a great sense of humor.
First we read this book and watched the movie at the end. They really got into Greek Mythology and were even using their freedom to do research on the Internet.

Now we are reading his book and will be watching the movie just before Christmas. It's not AS exciting as Percy Jackson, but they seem to be enjoying it anyway.

I want to do another great chapter book in January. What are your ideas?

yes, the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe would be good! Then you could watch the movie at the end, which is REALLY good, too! And if you want, there's a WHOLE bunch of ones in The Chronicles of Narnia series!
