I am taking the 100 BOOK CHALLENGE!
My reading list shows that I have already read 32 books this year. There are 3 more books in the Ted Dekker series I am reading, so I am set for number 33, 34 and 35. I don't think I'll hit 100, but I'm hoping to hit 50 by the end of the year. I like fiction over nonfiction, suspense, mysteries, religious fiction, children's chapter books, historical fiction, fantasy, thrillers and some classics.
I'd love to hear your recommendations of what I should read to finish out the year.

If you go to my blog, I have my reading list on the right. I'm participating in the challenge, too. I highly recommend the Chronicles of the Kings series by Lynn Austin!!
James Patterson is great, and an easy read (short chapters allow for breaks quickly if you're like me-I like a nice stopping point). If you've never tried Jodi Piccoult, she's a good one I've gotten into this year. Just finished House Rules by her and it was great! I am getting ready to start "The Help", I can't for the life of me remember who the author is though.
I'm following a different path in terms of leisure reading. I may have read two so far this year, and they were non-fiction. But I AM tackling a third, a Philip Margolian thriller called "Wild Justice". It is OK so far, but I wouldn't recommend it. I chose it because I really liked "Gone, but Not Forgotten" when I read it many years ago. So maybe that one...yeah! Bonus...you can get it at the library because it is old :-)
I take it back...Wild Justice was worth my time. Nice short chapters and very twisty!
