Prayers Needed!
I finished all my sub plans and was feeling very ready for Samuel's arrival then.......
....Marylou, the woman who was "going to" watch Samuel, called me this morning. Her daughter who is only 35 and a single mom of two young boys, just had a minor stroke. They are doing tests on her and are worried this could lead to a bigger stroke. She lives in Colorado and Marylou may have to go take care of the boys. Also, Marylou recently had a hysterectomy with complications and she will not be allowed to lift anything more then a gallon jug of milk, for a year. Because of all this she will not be able to watch Samuel. I pray for her and her family, but I am very disappointed. She is a wonderful person and has been like a second mom and a great friend to me for 19 years. Samuel was going to be a very lucky boy to have her as a caregiver.
Ugghh...now what do I do???....I have to go back to work on February 17th, so I have to find someone. I have a call into my church, my sister and I put out a mass e-mail to everyone I know for ideas on anyone that babysits in their home. I also need someone who would not charge me while I am on my breaks from school. I do not want to put Samuel in a day care and not working is not financially possible for my husband and I.
HHMMM??? PANIC?!?!? PRAY?!?!? Join with me in the praying...panic never works anyway! Thanks!!

I'm sure everything will all work out just fine for you. God is in control, He knows the outcome already. I just looked at your counter and cannot believe it is only 17 days until you expect Samuel! So exciting!!!
It will work out, life always does. I will send up a prayer for you anyway :) 17 days to go...I can't believe it!
Oh gees, wishing you luck as you unravel this knot in your plans! I am confident something will work out, and I am definitely praying for you!
Melba
Praying, if Texas would ever let me go, I'd do it, but alas, I think we are here for the foreseeable. You'll find someone.
PRAYING FOR YOU for an answer!!
PRAYING FOR YOU for an answer!!
I will definitely be praying!!! My mom took care of a little guy for several years--sort of by accident. His parents needed someone to watch their kid and mom was a SAH mom. She never watched any other children (regularly, anyways). Maybe there's a SAH mom who would like a little extra cash!
God has the perfect person already picked out. I pray he directs you right to them!
Bless your heart. You are right, panic never works, but it seems to be our first reaction to most difficult situations. Prayer, however, does work. So, I will join you in praying. I know it is so difficult, but I also know that God would not take this from you, if He did not have something (or someone) even better in store for you.
I'm lifting you up in prayer...and I will also say a prayer for Marylou and her family.
God Bless,
Amy:)
Everything will work out...it always does. I'd SO offer to watch Samuel for you...for free even...but then you'd have to foot the bill for daily plane flights...
