There is Always A Seed of Good
Laugh at yourself and at life. Not in the spirit of derision or whining self pity, but as a miracle drug, that will ease your pain, cure your depression and help you put in perspective that seemingly terrible defeat. Then you can worry with laughter at your predicaments, thus freeing your mind to think clearly toward the solution that is certain to come.
Never take yourself too seriously. Search for the seed of good in every adversity. This shield will guard you through all the dark valleys you traverse. You will learn things in the hard times that you will never discover if you hadn't had them. There is always a seed of good.
"The Lord is my Shepherd. I have everything I need. He lets me rest in fields of green grass and leads me to quiet pools of fresh water. He gives me new strength. He guides me in the right paths, as He has promised. Even if I go through the deepest darkness, I will not be afraid, Lord, for you are with me. Your Shepherd's rod and staff protect me. You prepare a banquet for me, where all my enemies can see me. You welcome me as an honored guest and fill my cup to the brim. I know that your goodness and love will be with me all my life; and your house will be my home as long as I live." Psalm 23: 1-6

Thanks for the encouragement, Tracey, it's very timely for me with all the new stresses in our lives... there's still ALWAYS "time" to laugh!
