New Beginnings
This is a time for new beginnings. We deserve peace within ourselves. Being real with yourself, being honest, will help lead to that peace. How can you keep doing the same things and expect different results? You have to do different to get different. Is it enough to simply endure or survive? Do you want more? Do you need something more? Lasting change doesn't happen overnight. It happens in infinitesimal increments: a day, an hour, a minute, a heartbeat at a time.
No more excuses! Decide now to make a change. The past can't hold you captive unless you allow it to. You make choices every second, of every minute, of every hour, of every day. Not choosing is a choice. Vow to move forward. How happy you are ten years from now depends on what you do with the time between now and then.
When we honestly ask ourselves, "Am I following an honest and authentic path," we discover that no one can define for us exactly what our parth should be. No one, that is, except us. Allowing the questions to move within us will allow an answer, our answer, to come. Understanding will show itself. Deeply listen and be still.
If you consciously work to bring more gratitude, simplicity, order, harmony, beauty and joy into your daily life, you world will be transformed.
Zoe Neale Hurston says, "There are years that ask questions and year that answer." Have this be a year of all the answers to your questions.
Joe Lewis once said, " You only live once, but if you work it right, once is enough."
.....................................................................................
There is an appointed time for everything
and a time for every affair under the heavens.
A time to be born, and a time to die.
A time to kill and a time to heal;
A time to tear down and a time to build.
A time to weep and a time to laugh;
A time to mourn and a time to dance.
A time to scatter stones and a time to gather;
A time to embrace and a time to be alone.
A time to seek and a time to lose;
A time to keep and a time to cast away.
A time to rend and a time to sew;
A time to be silent and a time to speak.
A time to love and a time to hate;
A time of war and a time of peace.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

Great first post.
I love those verses from Ecclesiastes.
Right now is my "time to heal."
God Bless,
Amy:)
