WHAT A GREAT WAY TO START THE NEW YEAR!
What a mess! Last Tuesday Richard and I filled BOTH our cars (Civic and a CRV....trunk and front) and took stuff to the consignment store, but my "sewing room" was still packet. There was no room to walk around or even attempt sewing. This was at 9:00 a.m. this morning.
So, I pulled everything into the hall and....
....out into the living room....what a mess!
I was too involved to take pictures as I went, but I got rid of 3 garbage bags of stuff. Now (1:00 p.m.) all my wreaths are hung on the wall again. I put all the stuff on the floor on $30 shelves I got (on sale) at Home Depot. The two things by the door will be gone tomorrow as they for school. I love that I can see the top of the table again.
I cleaned out my kitchen cabinets and put the bigger things we don't use as much in here, too. We have 18 bottles of wine and 5 bottles of champagne! Guess what I'm giving out next Christmas?! I even had a shelf for all our games.
On the other side of the room, nearest the door, are the extra cleaning supplies (I usually buy things in two's.), shampoo, soap, extra food stuffs.....there are 8 bottles of juice and in the corner, stacked almost to the ceiling, are 5 plastic bins (...some with NOTHING in them.).
I feel so much better now! I finally have some ROOM in my "sewing room" to do a project of two.
