Great shopping day!

I went shopping today for my little man. I found these wooden letters for $1.00 each at WalMart and the little wooden pictures for $.25 cents each.

Then I went to the consignment store. I had three bags of girl clothes my brother had given to me and I got a $20.00 credit for them.

I had lots of fun with my $20.00 credit. Most of the clothes pictured below are for 0-3 months, a few were for 6-9 months and the cool jacket at the end, he won't be able to wear until he's a year, but for the price, I couldn't pass it up.

These are the sleepers I picked up for $1.99 each.

I love these three outfits, especially the one with the moose. Each $2.00.

These three outfits are all boy! The one with yellow stipes was $2.50, the little pants were .99 cents, the blue outfit was $1.99 and the plaid coat was $2.00.

Next we have two more sleepers for $1.99 each and a sleep sack for $1.50.

Then I got the little jeans for $.99 cents and the little outfit for $3.00.

These two outfits were $3.00 each.

These two outfits are my absolute favorites. I got the one on the left for $4.00 and the other for $4.99.

This is the windbraker jacket I found for only $2.50. It has stitching of a football and helmet on it and it's lined with fleece.

Which makes our grand total, after the credit, $32.38 for all those clothes.

  4. How fun to shop for your new arrival! My favorite is definitely the sweater vest! How precious!

The cubby carts were $50 a piece, which is why it was an entire summer investment- we bought them slowly over time!

I have them scattered throughout my classroom in knooks and crannies, so they actually do fit. I couldn't fit them all spread out like they are in the picture!

  6. Oh, Tracey! I am so so happy for you! I'm sorry I haven't stopped by recently--on vacation--so I'm only catching up to your news.

But that is so wonderful! And the sleepers are darling!

    My prayers are with you.
